Presentation is done

So today I did my presentation, i think it went well. It was kinda funny to hear all of the sounds from www.homestarrnner.com during my presentation.

Anyways, Next week I will be missing class. I'm working at a retreat up north. Hopefully I don't miss too much. But thats the way it is... you can't be in two places at once. Catching up will definately be necessary or maybe working ahead is a better option. Either way it will be good to get out of the class room for a little while, and get some fresh air from the north.

The nice thing about the noth, is that you can actually see the stars, and there are trees. Unlike the city where the sky is gray and so is the landscape because of all of the buildings, there is the lots of vegetation which is nice.

The night before christmas

Actually, this is the night before my presentation. Hopefully it goes well. The editorial I have to present doesn't really seem like it has alot of content. That could either be good or bad. Anyways I'm pretty confident about my presentation, they're usually a snap for me.

But tonight during my hockey game I suffered a shoulder injury. It's probably not serious, but it may result in some advil in the morning... i know i already took more than the reccomended dose tonight. Hopefully I'll be right as rain to do my presentation.

Quick thoughts on the labs: The tutorials aren't very helpful in figureing out how to use programs that we've never used before (Such as quask). Perhaps we should have more time to do the labs every week, or you could take us through the material on the projector so we will learn it faster.
